Aresti
villas were built in 1998 on the ruins of the old family mansion in a
wonderful hillside position and in private land of 40.000 sq.m. that belongs
to Stamiris family since 1928.
The owners, Giannis and Soula Stamiris,
with the assistance of the local architecture Nikos Lykouresis have achieved
to recreate the charm and the style of a past era.
The villas are made predominantly from natural stone by local craftsmen while original pieces of the old mansion’s remains (stone work, headers) were reused in the buildings. They blend harmoniously into their natural surroundings, but the interiors - whilst paying homage to the traditional style of the island - are elegant, stylish and immensely comfortable.
Thick wooden doors, windows and furnishings painted in vivid traditional colours add to the character of this unique property. Each villa’s swimming pool is of a good size, and thanks to the mature vegetation of the grounds each enjoys a good degree of privacy.
